Analyst and experts says The Philadelphia 76ers are tanking this season and they were not expected to play good basketball. But the 76ers are doing the exact opposite and the rookie who's also not expected to play this well this early Michael Carter-Williams is leading them with a 3-0 Start including against two behemoth team of the East defending Champions Miami heat and Derrick Rose led Chicago Bulls.

Michael Carter-Williams No. 11 pick debuts with a something to prove against the Miami Heat with 22 points (on 6-of-10 shooting), 12 assists, seven rebounds and nine steals in 36 minutes to beat the Heat 114-110 last October 30, 2013.

There are no NBA player yet whether rookie or not has matched his stat line (22 points, 12 assists, 7 rebounds and 9 steals) in any game since 1985. ESPN Stats & Information notes that it’s been achieved only twice in NBA history.

• His 9 steals were the most in a debut since steals became an official stat in 1973-74.
• The 12 assists he got were the 2nd most in a career debut in NBA history, trailing only Ernie DiGregorio, who had 14 for the Buffalo Braves in 1973-74
• The 22 points, 12 assists, 7 rebounds and 9 steals combination is one achieved only twice previously by anyone in any NBA game. Rickey Green had a 26-12-9-7 for the Utah Jazz in November, 1982, and Johnny Moore put up a 26-13-9-11 for the San Antonio Spurs in January, 1985.

On Saturday night they beat the Chicago Bulls 107-104 at the Wells Fargo Center. Rookie Michael Carter-Williams had 26 points and 10 assists and Spencer Hawes added 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Philadelphia 76ers.
